Tsuki, age 11, was running frantically thru the rain in search of one thing… his best friend. He hadn't seen her all day and was growing worried. He searched the whole village with no sign of her. At last he found her teacher, Yasu.

"Ms. Yasu!? We have a problem! Lluvia went missing!" Tsuki yelled, out of breath. Yasu turned around and slapped him. Tsuki's eyes widened and he gripped his cheek. "M-Ms. Yasu…?"

"She's gone Tsuki… she left us for ContraInfirmus… she left us to become an assassin!!" Yasu yelled and fell to the ground. Tsuki's ears lowered.

"I-I don't understand…" Tsuki said. This caused him to get slapped again.

"You're a foolish child! She is no longer one of us! She is against us! From now on, you're enemies, foes! Ancelin took her from us…" Yasu yelled and began to cry in the rain.

"We have to get her back Ms. Yasu!" Tsuki said. Yasu grabbed his leg and a bright flash of purple light appeared before Tsuki screamed in pain.

"You can't go after her Tsuki… You don't understand what you're going up against…" Yasu cried.

"You didn't have to crush my leg bones!" Tsuki cried. Yasu looked away guilty.

"She'll be back one day Tsuki… no doubts about that…" Yasu got up and began walking away.

"Wait! Aren't you going to help me?! You crushed my leg!" Tsuki called.

"You're a warrior now… deal with it yourself…" Yasu said and walked away. Tsuki lowered his ears completely, feeling defeated and pitiful. Tsuki managed to crawl home. His mother took care of his leg and put him to bed.

"I-I can't believe she's gone…" Tsuki cried. His mother stroked his head.

"It is one of those things we can't stop… we just have to deal with the fact she is…" she said and kissed the top of Tsuki's head. Tsuki nodded and laid down as his mother put out the candles, crying himself to sleep.

For the next 6 years, Tsuki lived in the village among the other Elves. He master fire magic and learned many light spells. He spent his free time becoming stronger… running miles thru the forest and lifting weights. During this time… he planned out ways to get his love back home. But… those plans came to a halt when the assassins attacked his home village. One by one, the assassins destroyed his village and his people. Most fought, but it only ended in death. Tsuki's mother died in his arms. From there, he was broken inside. He fought his former love with every ounce of warrior in his blood. But it was no use… she was much stronger than him. She left him… alone in their village, which was now stained red. Even though Tsuki was wounded himself… he spent the whole night digging graves for his friends, family… his fellow elves that had died in battle. The whole night, he buried the dead and ignored his own wounds. The next morning, Yasu came to the tragically-struck village.

"Tsuki!? What happened here?!" She called to him. Tsuki stared at her with blank, broken eyes.

"Assassins… attack our village. Lluvia killed everyone we loved. The elves are almost a thing of the past now… just mythical creatures." Tsuki said blankly. Yasu looked at him, wide eyed and on the verge of tears.

"E-everyone's gone…" She cried. Tsuki continued to bury the bodies. Yasu landed on her knees, sobbing.

"We are warriors, Yasu…" Tsuki said. Yasu broke at that point and tackled him down in one of the graves. He stared at her wit
h blank eyes. She slapped him multiple times.

"How can you say that Tsuki?! Everyone is gone! She was once your friend, you loved her! And you let her commit this crime!?" Yasu cried.

"She hasn't been my friend in 6 years…" He said. She gave him a punch to the chest.

"Tsuki, snap out of it!!" Yasu wailed. Tsuki's expression remained blank.

"I made a promise to her before she left the village…" Tsuki said.

"A promise…?" Yasu asked.

"My promise is I will hurt her… her promise is she will hurt me…" Tsuki muttered. Yasu jumped up and left him, wounded in the grave and alone in the village stained red. After he was finished, he packed up all he needed and headed out of the forest. He found an apartment in the nearby village. He lived there for about a year and began hearing rumors about a nearby magic shop. From the moment he stepped inside that magic shop, his life changed more than it did on that night. But this time… for the good of things.
A short story...ish.. kinda writing about tsuki's past at the village~! Its just an idea of what happened to him before he came to the shop and why he hates Yasu so much :D hope you like it!
